Les i More
Glamping hotels: Altai, 12 guests; Kalyazin, 50 guests. As procurement director at Les i More, I managed purchasing for four locations, management accounting, financial planning, supplier contracts and tender preparation. Procurement volume: more than RUB 350 million. Project by Architectural Studio RE.
The boundary dissolves between forest and water, between a nomadic life and the feeling of home.
Pine forest by the water
The first site lies on the shore of a reservoir in Kalyazin, surrounded by pines. Guest tents stand on wooden platforms, alongside open dining marquees and lounge areas with banquettes and coffee tables.
The palette combines cream canvas, dusty-rose and grey linen, oriental rugs and vintage wooden trunks. Oil lamps and brass wall lights create a warm setting for the evening.
I was responsible for sourcing and procurement: selecting and purchasing furniture, textiles, tableware and decorative objects; coordinating delivery to a remote site; checking deliveries; and arranging the pieces in the guest tents and communal marquees.
Larch, mountains and water
The second site is in the Altai Mountains, among larch forests, rivers, rocks and waterfalls. Here, Les i More takes on a more rugged character: rough timber, cast iron, warm furs, brass lamps and pot-bellied stoves.
The site’s centrepiece is a warm-water bathing tub with a view of the starry sky, a place for an unhurried evening. Nearby, communal marquees are furnished with wooden loungers, vintage lights and rugs.
I continued to oversee sourcing and coordination: selecting objects to suit the character of the place, coordinating delivery to a remote location, arranging the interiors and developing shoot concepts for the hotel’s marketing.
Collaboration
I join projects at the concept, sourcing and procurement, or refurbishment stage.
